agent orange: debriefing and discussion about dissemination of findings for public display.

agent koszelek - not too sure about findings, except there is a way of bringing the outside into the gallery.(she brought planted weeds from the barren ground outside the gallery, and placed them within sight of the garmin/ryan collection). the two members of the public who helped her were interested in the process. she approached them after seeing them watching interestedly. they had no prior strong opinions about the gallery except that they knew it was well used. she found it fairly easy to work quickly and to a tight time schedule, with no worries about the quality of the outcomes. the documentation will be the plants and some light sensitive photos taken by the canal.

agent bethell - built a plough out of timber, referencing an exhibit in the collection after ditching previous ideas due to time constraints, wanted to highlight the wilderness area behind the gallery, by symbolising the fertility and regrowth attached to the plough object. found it difficult to find the timber but after directions from helpful coppers, found some free in travis perkins. public reaction was limited to pleasantries and staring as he ploughed up and down the gallery concourse, tracing the black and white lines. the performance was unplanned, but proved enjoyable. the plogh will be hung as documentation.

agent cooper-willis - a collaboration with agent semp, chalking various markings intending to disrupt public journeys across the gallery square in form of arrows etc. there was an interrogation zone where questions were asked. she paced out areas in an attempt to guage the amount of public traffic and again to disrupt their passage in order to move people away from the walled confines. there was limited success with a few brave souls. the results of the questionnaire will be posted as documentation in the gallery space. the outcome with the chalked disruptions led the artists to believe that there was plenty of scope to turn gallery square into a fun, entertainment zone.

agent semp - his second project, through a 3 beaker water challenge, offered members of the public the chance to choose between 3 types of water, including tap, spring water and dirty canal water in a pepsi challenge style format. this acted as a conceit which allowed further, broader chat with the public to take place across a range of subjects, allowing the artist to find consultative results, to get people talking in a creative way and playing with peoples' conceptions.

agent vaughan - found his end results were better than he thought they'd be halfway through the design stage. inspired by work in the gallery collection, he photographed scenes and bits of detritus from outside the gallery and replaced them with the photos, bringing those outside bits into the gallery. talking about the importance of the seemingly trivial everyday bits of rubbish which inhabit a space without us noticing.

  1. did Agent Cooper-Willis employ a clipboard in the prescribed manner?
